Online Scams & Digital Footprints
This video provides a quick overview on online scams targeting young people and the importance of digital footprints.


Creative Connections
12JA recently enjoyed the opportunity to meet pupils from St. Louise’s College, Belfast as part of the Creative Connections initiative. Pupils took part in an open‑top bus tour of Belfast, visiting iconic landmarks such as Titanic Quarter, Stormont, and Botanic Gardens. Pupils responded creatively to their surroundings through dance, working collaboratively and demonstrating good teamwork skills throughout the day.


Makaton Training
Today, as part of our staff training, fifteen of our classroom assistants completed their Level 1 Makaton. Well done to each of them for passing. Mrs Scott will be training more staff during the next staff day. Congratulations to you all!


Marathon Day
All runners are now safely finished and all looking rather fresh!! Congratulations to our two teams, we are so proud of you all for giving up your time to train and run in support of our school. We thank all those who came out and cheered them on around the course. There is still time to show your support by sponsoring our teams. This can be done via ParentMail or by phoning the school. Sweet Potato Soup
Independent living skills in action! Today we learned how to make a simple meal at home by cooking sweet potato soup from scratch. So, sit back and get them cooking over the Bank Holiday weekend!


School Mini Marathon
As well as our relay teams in the Belfast Marathon, some of our classes also took part in their own mini marathons this week during Health and Fitness classes. Well done to 8LB, 8SG, 9CF and 12JA!


Student of the Month April
Well done to all our Students of the Month for April. They enjoyed their time out in our sanctuary garden receiving their certificates and treats.


Young Enterprise Awards
We wish our Young Enterprise team, ‘Where’s Ma Keys?’, good luck at the awards ceremony which is taking place in the City Hall tonight. They have worked very hard and we are all very proud of them. We hope they enjoy this very special evening. And the evening just got even better! Love for Life Senior
Yesterday, saw our Key Stage 4 & Post 16 students completing the 'Who's Choosing' workshop with the visiting Love for Life agency. Students learned skills to help them stay safe, build healthy relationships, consider consent, and to develop resilience. A great time was had by all with some valuable RSE skills and knowledge being developed. Well done to all who attended the workshops for your maturity and enthusiasm. Junior Cross Country
Today saw our junior cross country teams compete in the interschools cross country championships at Beechlawn School in Hillsborough. A lovely sunny day saw around 100 students competing from 7 schools. In the girls event, Caitlin led the way, coming 7th overall - very impressive as a Year 8 competing against Year 10s! In the boys event Archie, Lucas and Alfie all came in the top 20 in a field of nearly 70 - a very good return. Most pleasing was the overall team results wh


Love for Life
Today, we had a visit from Love for Life who delivered RSE programmes called 'Access All Areas' and 'All Sorts' to our Key Stage 3 & 4 students. The workshops covered healthy relationships, staying safe online, puberty and hygiene, as well as many other topics. The students engaged superbly and really enjoyed the sessions!


Laughter is the Best Medicine 😊
Laughter plays such an important role in supporting our wellbeing, and here in Park School we love to celebrate moments that bring joy and confidence to our students. Recently, we ran a joke‑writing competition as part of our wellbeing activities, and we are incredibly proud to share that Ella in Year 12 has made it through to the final of the Northern Ireland Voice Box Awards. LMC Cooking Demonstration
Moe, from LMC, was in on Wednesday for a cooking demonstration with 9CF and 9MS. The students were shown how to cook an Italian beef pasta dish. We would like to thank Moe for taking the time to come in and demonstrate the cooking process to the students.


Relay Team
On Sunday 3rd May, our staff have two relay teams entered the Belfast City Marathon. They are running to raise funds for the work of our school. Parent's Makaton Session
Last week, some of our parents took part in a Makaton taster with Mrs Scott. They all passed their taster session and hopefully will continue to their Level 1 very soon. Well done!

Today, after a lovely day of wellbeing activities, every pupil in school received an egg from our Young Enterprise group. They bought these from their profits after a very successful year.


Spring Hampers

‘Where’s ma Keys?’
We’re delighted to announce that ‘Where’s ma Keys?’ have been named the winners of the NI Young Enterprise Team Competition 2026. A huge congratulations to the team on this fantastic achievement. They will attend a Black Tie Awards Ceremony this April at Belfast City Hall to receive their award. We are incredibly proud of all they have accomplished and look forward to celebrating their success. This the third year in a row that our team has won, and has only been possible due
