A counselling service through Barnardo’s is currently provided for two days per week. A room has been designated for the Counsellors’ use in school.

 

The emotional health and well-being of our young people is a priority here in Park School so having Barnardo’s partner with us will enhance the pastoral care provision.

 

An Annual Report is presented to the Board of Governors, the Principal and SLT updating the development and main areas of the service. 

 

Pupils access the counselling service by:

 

• Self-referral

• Parental/Carer referral

• Teacher/Classroom Assistant referral
