Thursday saw our KS3 team compete in the NI national football competition at the Valley Leisure Centre. Starting strongly against Longstone, our team racked up an impressive 4-0 win with goals from Noah, Kade and Cobie (and an Own Goal!).
They followed this up with a staggering 6-0 victory over Killard House, including a hattrick from Kade, and a wonder strike from Fiontan!
The third game in the group was a battling 2-2 draw against Thornfield, coming back from 2-0 down after goals from Layth and Phoenix.
The group ended with a narrow 2-1 defeat to a strong St Paul's team. This lead to Park's disappointment, as we miraculously missed out on the Semi Finals by just one point.
Well done to all involved. The students showed such impressive attitudes and determination!
