Today, after a lovely day of wellbeing activities, every pupil in school received an egg from our Young Enterprise group. They bought these from their profits after a very successful year.

Congratulations to our winners of our Spring hampers. The basket was won by Jason. The handmade bunny was won by Mr Hunter. The Streamavale Farm and bunny was won by Jay and Kyle. Thank you to everyone who bought tickets to support the school.

We’re delighted to announce that ‘Where’s ma Keys?’ have been named the winners of the NI Young Enterprise Team Competition 2026. A huge congratulations to the team on this fantastic achievement. They will attend a Black Tie Awards Ceremony this April at Belfast City Hall to receive their award. We celebrated on Wednesday with our Student of the Month winners. We are so fortunate to have such fantastic students, and the reasons for them winning are wonderful to hear.

Great news Ella McAteer in 12JA has been selected to represent the school in the recent joke competition we entered......... We are delighted to inform you that Ella McAteer has been selected as a finalist in the Northern Ireland Voice Box Awards Competition. We are excited to have May McFettridge host the final and are certain there will be a lot of laughs! Each young person will get a chance to tell their joke in the Senate Chamber in Stormont to the audience of parents,

Yesterday, as part of our Literacy Week, we celebrated World Book Day. All students received their book token and some even came dressed as their favourite character! Well done to our fancy dress competition.

11CC and 11MP received a visit from Arlene from LMC, who completed a cooking demonstration of a Chinese inspired beef recipe. All students really enjoyed the demonstration and having a taste of the food at the end!

What an amazing night the Post 16 had at their formal in the Stormont. Everyone looked amazing and had a great night dancing and singing! Well done to all our award winners. The Award winners photos will follow soon.
