Junior Cross Country

Today saw our junior cross country teams compete in the interschools cross country championships at Beechlawn School in Hillsborough. 

A lovely sunny day saw around 100 students competing from 7 schools. In the girls event, Caitlin led the way, coming 7th overall - very impressive as a Year 8 competing against Year 10s! 

In the boys event Archie, Lucas and Alfie all came in the top 20 in a field of nearly 70 -  a very good return.

Most pleasing was the overall team results where Park students consistency won through with both boys and girls teams collecting bronze medals for 3rd overall in their competitions! As a result EVERY student from Park who competed won a medal! 

Thanks to Beechlawn for hosting such a great event.  We return again on Tuesday next week for the senior event.
