Northern Ireland Voice Box Awards Competition
Great news Ella McAteer in 12JA has been selected to represent the school in the recent joke competition we entered......... We are delighted to inform you that Ella McAteer has been selected as a finalist in the Northern Ireland Voice Box Awards Competition. We are excited to have May McFettridge host the final and are certain there will be a lot of laughs! Each young person will get a chance to tell their joke in the Senate Chamber in Stormont to the audience of parents,
World Book Day
Yesterday, as part of our Literacy Week, we celebrated World Book Day. All students received their book token and some even came dressed as their favourite character! Well done to our fancy dress competition.


11MP Cooking Demonstration
11CC and 11MP received a visit from Arlene from LMC, who completed a cooking demonstration of a Chinese inspired beef recipe. All students really enjoyed the demonstration and having a taste of the food at the end!


Park School Formal
What an amazing night the Post 16 had at their formal in the Stormont. Everyone looked amazing and had a great night dancing and singing! Well done to all our award winners. The Award winners photos will follow soon.


Chinese New Year Feast
Today, as part of their HE course, 11MP prepared, cooked and served up an amazing Chinese feast! Staff were able to purchase a meal of their choice from beef in black bean sauce, sweet and sour chicken or chicken curry. And what a delicious lunch we had, some even tried to eat it with the chopsticks!! Every detail was thought of, even a fortune cookie to end the meal. 11MP pupils and staff should be very proud of all their hard work today, as everyone enjoyed their lunch. W


Asian Supermarket Visit
11MP had a visit to the Asian Supermarket on Wednesday morning. They were doing some research and purchasing items for their Chinese New Year event this Wednesday.


Valentine’s Disco
💖 What a fantastic Valentine’s Disco! Everyone had a fabulous time dancing, laughing, and celebrating together. Thank you to everyone who helped make it such a lovely event for the students and staff.


American Dinner
11CC did an amazing job during their HE Entry Level cooking class today. They prepared the room and food, cooked all the dishes and served a delicious 3 course American diner style meal to 6 very lucky staff! So parents, get them cooking some of these dishes at home over the half term! Well done everyone.


Our Young Enterprise teams
Our Young Enterprise teams were in Castle Court today selling their new merchandise and promoting their business. A massive congratulations to all those in our Young Enterprise teams and to Miss West and Mrs Joyce as they are coming back to school with not 1 but 3 certificates! Best Team Winner Most Innovative Product Outstanding Sales Person - presented to Ritchie. We are immensely proud of each of them and how much work they have put into their businesses this year. Digital Leaders
Our Student Digital Leaders had an amazing coding morning with Cinemagic! From building and modifying robots to racing them and finishing with a Robot Wars re-enactment, it was a brilliant hands-on experience full of creativity and fun.


Panto 2025
Thank you to all who came to our performances of the Grinch. It was a fantastic show, with two sell out nights! The students were amazing on the stage and also those who sang in the choir. Thank-you to all the staff who helped make both evenings possible, and especially Mrs. Fitzpatrick and Mr. McKinley who were the producers and directors of the show. Also to the PTA for the refreshments and tuck shop both evenings. Here are a few photos of the show.


Student of the Month Nov 2025
Congratulations to all our Students of the Month for November. It is great to see so many working very hard and showing such care and friendship to others.


Deck the Stalls – Young Enterprise Christmas Market!
Our amazing Young Enterprise team Where’s Ma Keys? will have their own stall at Deck the Stalls in Grand Central Train Station tomorrow, Saturday 13thDecember, from 11:00am to 2:30pm.


YE at St Georges
Our teams had a very busy day in St. George’s market yesterday, selling their products and pitching their businesses to everyone. There were around 100 teams at the market, and after all their hard work, they were awarded Team Runner Up and Best Junior Team! Congratulations to the students and staff involved. We are so proud of you all!


Christmas Craft Fair
Thank you to everyone who came today to make our Christmas Craft Fair such a great success. There was a real buzz in the hall and it was great to see so many friends and family come to school to support us.


PizzaWorks
A big shout out to PizzaWorks on the Antrim Road for the very generous donation of all the ingredients we needed to make our own pizzas in school. Our Year 12 pupils enjoyed learning how to make pizza from scratch. Thank you @pizzaworks.
Curling Tournament
Well done to the Year 9 and 10 teams who went to Newforge yesterday for the Kurling competition. A big shout out to McKenzie, Damien and Caitlin who came first, out of 16 teams, in the tournament!! It came down to the very last turn in the final, with McKenzie getting the win for her team. The score was 2-1. Everyone played very well and had a great day.
