Senior Summer Scheme

Day 1 of our Senior Summer Scheme saw everyone going to the cinema to watch The Fantastic Four, and then a special lunch treat back at school from Brown's Chip van and a lovely walk around the park. A great start to our week of fun!

Day 2: We all enjoyed a lovely day at Streamvale Farm. Holding the puppies and the rabbits were a big favourite. We fed the pigs and enjoyed a ride on the tractor to feed the deer.  Such a good day with the different animals and luckily the rain held off for us.

Day 3 saw the Summer Scheme head to Airtastic and then for lunch at McDonald’s. It was a great day all round, jumping on the inflatables and having fun!

Day 4: What a busy day we had at the Summer Scheme. Everyone enjoyed working out the many puzzles at Escape HQ. The first group made it out in 41 minutes! A little bit of lunch and a rest was much needed before we headed into Dundonald Ice Bowl for some bowling. Fabulous day as always.

Day5: Another busy day for our Summer scheme. We learned things about Belfast, that we didn't know, while on the open top bus. Students were all excited to sit on the open deck. To top it off, we enjoyed a game of Crazy Golf at Lost City Adventure Golf, and finally ending with scrumptious pizza overlooking the Lagan.

What a way to end the week. Even better that our principal, Mrs Davis, joined us. Just fabulous!

Thank you to all the students who came along to the two summer schemes, and a special thanks to Miss Polly and all the staff who have been involved in organising and being at the different events. Without them, we would not have had two terrific weeks of fun and adventure
