Junior Summer Scheme

Day 2 of the Summer Scheme, saw the pupils heading to Belfast Zoo.  Everyone had a great time seeing all the different animals.   The penguins were diving into the water, the giraffes were eating and the lion was sitting majestically at the top of the hill.  A play in the park before we got back on the bus. Thankfully, the weather stayed dry and everyone loved their day out!

Day 3: Such a busy day at the summer scheme. All the children, young and old, had a wonderful time bouncing at Airtastic Inflata Park. We worked up an appetite and so a welcome stop off at McDonald's to feed the hungry campers!

As if that wasn't enough, some ended their day with a stroll in the park, some made Rice Krispie buns and others just wanted a game in the playground.  Another fabulous day all round!

Day 4: Today, we went to Streamvale Farm to see the different animals. We loved being able to hold and feed the animals and have a ride round the farm on the little barrel train and tractor. A head count was needed as we were leaving or there may have been more on board the bus on the way home as some wanted to bring a pet home with them!!

Only one day left of such a fabulous week!

Day 5: What a lovely way to finish the first week of our Summer Scheme. We spent the day at Flavour First Farm looking at all the beautiful sunflowers, choosing one to bring home and then getting some time to play.

It has been a great week, full of exciting trips and lots of fun!

Next week will be our Senior Summer Scheme.
