Congratulations to the KS3 Footballers who today won the Castle Tower 5-aside Football tournament (B category).

Both teams battled hard with the A team boasting a solid record of 2 wins, 2 draws and 2 defeats (both against the eventual winners!). The A team finished 3rd in their league missing out on the final by goal difference alone.

The B team won 4 of 5 games in their pool, impressive as every player spent a match in goal. They qualified for the final against the St Gerard's team who had beaten them in the group - battling for a magnificent 1-0 win, including several top saves from goalkeeping hero Coyce, and a breakaway goal for Brooklyn that sent the crowd wild!
