Due to on-going Covid-19 restrictions, Belfast Met College will host a Virtual Open Day on Saturday 30th January.
The Virtual Open Day will consist of a series of short pre-recorded videos which the potential student and parent/carer can watch including:
· Why you should make Belfast Met your first choice? (student ambassadors)
· Short video per school and Centre for Skills and Apprenticeships (overview)
· Student Support Services
· Parents Information Session
· College Tour
· Admissions Process – How to apply
This format is similar to Virtual Open Days held by Universities across the UK in recent months. The Open Day content will remain online throughout the recruitment cycle and can be viewed at any time.
The Virtual Open Day will be followed by more specific vocational Open Days – Virtual Information Sessions (including Centre for Skills and Apprenticeships) throughout February. Each area will be allocated a day split into a series of subject area live webinars, followed by Q&A sessions. All virtual information sessions will be recorded and available to watch at a later date.
